3-11-98  Butter Pecan Sauce  1/2 cup butter
1 cup pecan pieces
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/3 cup heavy cream or 1 can (5 3/8 oz) evaporated milk
1/4 cup corn syrup  In heavy sauce pan, melt butter.
Add pecans.
Heat until pecans are lightly toasted & butter is lightly browned.
Stir in brown sugar, cream & corn syrup.
Cook gently until sugar is completely dissolved.
Do not overcook.
Serve warm or cold.
